Klondike (solitaire) 1.2.2

Klondike, often referred to as solitaire, is a card game that challenges players to organize and arrange cards by suit, in ascending order from Ace (A) to King (K).

The game begins with the distribution of cards set up in seven rows resembling stairs, where all cards are faced down except for the ones in the lowest position of each row, which are revealed to the player. The remaining cards, held together, are placed faced down on the table.

Players have control over when to turn over the face-down cards, providing strategic depth to the game. Participants may opt for "1 mode," flipping one card at a time, or "3 mode," where they turn over three cards simultaneously.

On the tableau, there are four designated spaces for building foundations. Players must place cards in these foundations in ascending order from Ace to King, ensuring that all cards within a foundation share the same suit.

Additionally, cards on the tableau can be stacked in descending order from King to Ace, with the added requirement that this stacking alternates colors – black (spades/clubs) and red (hearts/diamonds). It is worth noting that only Kings may be placed in empty tableau columns; no other rank is permitted in these spaces.
